Tokudaiji Saneatsu (徳大寺実淳)

Saneatsu TOKUDAIJI (May 17, 1445 - September 22, 1533) was a Kugyo (court noble) in the Muromachi period. His father was Kinari TOKUDAIJI.
His children were Kintane TOKUDAIJI, Uchimitsu HINO and Fusako (Hisamichi KONOE's lawful wife.)
His go (pen name) was Zenkoin. His Buddhist name was Ninkei.

Brief Personal History

In 1445, he was born as a child of Kinari TOKUDAIJI.

On September 7, 1462, he was appointed to Jusanmi (Junior Third Rank).

In 1481, he became Naidaijin (Minister of the Center, 1481 – 1485).

On June 25, 1485, he was appointed to Juichii (Junior First Rank).

In 1487, he became Sadaijin (Minister of the Left, 1487 – 1493).

In 1509, he became Daijo daijin (Grand minister of state, 1509 – 1511).

On September 23, 1511, he entered the priesthood.

In 1533, he passed away.
